Wow, what a find! Bruno and his team focus exclusively on folks 50+ years old. That commitment means everything is tailored for “us”. Relieving pain, moving better, and having an overall better quality of life is top of the list for me. And they deliver. It’s not at all intimidating nor overwhelming like other gyms. Welcoming, comfortable, great camaraderie. It’s a very different kind of place. Not what you think of when you think of a “gym”. The new Functional Training Program is awesome. And the fact that you can get all of this in the South Bay very near Palos Verdes is pretty darn amazing. Thank you Still Got it team!!
This is the only gym and exercise program that I have ever stuck with. It has been three months now and I’m moving so well and can handle tasks effortlessly throughout my day. The trainers adjust to wherever the gym member is in their current physical state. No pushing, no pressure, all good, inclusive classes.
I've been searching forever for a gym with small group classes for older adults that included strength training, balance, and agility. Most gyms and physical trainers are geared only to those in their 20s to 50s, not considering that the muscles and ligaments in someone in their 60s and older are not as flexible or strong as in younger people. I was so happy to find the Functional Mobility class. I love that it includes so many different forms of strength training, balance and agility exercises all done in a circuit. Each time I've gone, there have been different exercises. I just love it.
